Privacy Statement
We have created this privacy statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. Please note that we review our privacy practices from time to time (e.g., to track technology and/or legal changes), and that those practices are subject to change. We ask that you bookmark and periodically review this page to ensure continuing familiarity with the most current version of our privacy statement.
Except as set forth within this Privacy Statement and other published guidelines, we do not sell, lend nor distribute personally identifiable information about users of this site without their permission. This site contains links to other sites. Upon selecting one of these links and leaving conversation.com this privacy statement no longer applies and we urge you to use caution when providing any personal data.
The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for this Web site.
When you visit conversation.com, what information do we gather about you?
In certain sections of conversation.com we require users to give us contact information (like their name and email address) to request information or join an e-mail newsletter list. We also require users to complete a registration form before downloading software, materials or pre-program work instructions. It is natural to wonder how we use this information. There is a limited amount of information any Web site can gather about its visitors without the visitor explicitly providing information, such as completing a form. Although conversation.com logs IP addresses, we do not link this data to any personally identifiable information.
What do we do with that information?
The personal information collected on conversation.com is used to deliver requested Executive Conversation files and information such as the appropriate software for a program. Additionally, such information is used to improve our site and refine our services, identify the most popular content and portions of our site and determine the effectiveness of our various promotional activities. We do evaluate site usage by performing statistical analyses of the collective characteristics and behavior of our users and analyzing user information in the aggregate and only in a way that does not identify any individual user. Aggregate information may include demographic data, domain names and site traffic as long as none of these fields are linked to personal information. Following such internal review, such aggregated information is then superseded by more recent information.
With whom do we share this information?
Where we deem appropriate, contact information will be shared with our Consulting Executives to assist them in preparing for presenting programs and providing consulting services. Otherwise, information collected on this site is not distributed outside of Executive Conversation.
Opt-Out Option
If you would like to have your personally-identifiable information removed from our databases going forward, please email support@conversation.com, and we will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request. However, there will be residual information that will remain within our databases, access logs, and other historical internal records, which may or may not contain such personally-identifiable information.
