EXECUTIVE CONVERSATION LAUNCHES
MANAGER COACHING KITS
Structured, online means for sales mangers to c
ontinue team development
SEATTLE, WA –Executive Conversation today launched the availability of Manager Coaching
Kits, an important extension of the company’s acclaimed Know it Now online learning framework.
Kits equip managers to work with their teams in a structured, time-effective format to
collaboratively apply new skills in the field.
“Sales managers play a pivotal role within their organizations, and their core focus is to
improve their team’s sales performance,” says Suzanne Sheppard, Executive Conversation CEO.
“Manager Coaching Kits provide step-by-step guidance for time-strapped managers to excel in
that role.”
Mapped to Customer Sales Processes
Kits are organized by where in the executive selling process a manager wants to focus.
For example, the Pipeline Builder Collection of kits squarely targets working on early stage
deals and identifying new opportunities. Designed for today’s mobile sales organization,
Kits accommodate:
- Use in group settings, such as team meetings, or one-on-one for more in-depth application
- Distance independent use for teams with members distributed across locations
- Real-time reporting to monitor manager and team member utilization
Complement Online or Workshop Training
Building on executive selling strategies learned in Know it Now courseware and Executive
Focused Selling workshops, Kits help managers track and assist team member development after
they’ve taken training.
“By using actual accounts and opportunities to complete activities, the Kits are designed
to produce measurable, near-term results,” stated Eric Beckman, Executive Vice President of
Marketing and Strategy.
Creating Effective Manager Coaches
Many managers were promoted because they were outstanding sales performers, not necessarily
because they’re experienced coaches. To help managers build their own skills, each kit includes:
- Video tutorials on when and how to use the Manager Coaching Kits
- Buyer’s Perspective Guides that show how to review and evaluate team member’s work product
- Coaching Guides that teach managers how to ask questions to encourage team members to illustrate a thinking process, rather than simply stating an answer.
